One easy method to train your team to handle the ball in front of the goal is to use two cones that are set at a distance of about 10 yards from each other, serving as the goal. Two players take turns in being the goalie and the shooter.

The players can shoot a stationary ball or can dribble the ball and then try to score a goal. Some coaches use five cones set as a goal at each end of the field and two teams compete to shoot down all five cones, the team that shoots down all five cones wins the game.

Another soccer finishing drills training consists of three players who take turns in being the goalie, the defense and the offense. When the goalie saves a ball he just rolls it to the offense and the training resumes.

Soccer shooting drills also include training two teams that are made to dribble the ball along thirty yard lines of cones and then they have to shoot at the goal, and players aim to finish shooting at the goal before the other team does.
