If you are coaching soccer routine kids, it is important for you to make sure that your players are aware of the mini soccer rules and laws.
In order to make sure that the kids enjoy the game and be motivated all the time, you have to design and develop the coaching session in a way, to successfully achieve the following:
- They must feel success at heart. Just because they are playing a real soccer match on the field, it should make them excited.
However, it will depend on the way, you present things before them like kids youth soccer drills video, and what they have learnt from the training sessions.
- The soccer routine kids must be motivated enough, to take an active part in the game.
- You will have to show your enthusiasm to them in a way, to encourage them to play the match as a team. Winning as a team should be in their mind, rather than achieving only some individual performances.
You can achieve this by training them to appreciate the teammates, for good performances.
- Make sure that they understand all the laws of the mini soccer match.
- Present the match before them, as an opportunity to show the soccer skills and ultimate fitness level that they have achieved through kids soccer drills and your training sessions.
Soccer Routine Kids: Soccer Co-Ordination Drills
If you are developing coaching session for the soccer routine kids, make sure that you have included the following soccer co-ordination drills as well:
- Ball warming is one of the best ways to improve co-ordination between the various parts of the body. Therefore, when you make your players practice the warm up drills before beginning the actual coaching session, it is better to include the ball warming as well. In the ball warming method, the players are supposed to roll the ball from front to back and then side to side and then with their foot or bottom. The players can use as many variations as possible or as they like.
- The soccer routine kids can also try bounce or juggle the ball off their knee. The players should practice this in a row for as many as times as possible for them.
- Tick Tock is also a very effective co-ordination drill. In this drill, you have to make your players practice passing the ball from the bottom of one foot to the other.
- Toss and Control comes next, in which, you have to control the ball in the air, by using the different parts of your body.
