Essential Mexican Soccer Rules
In Mexico, people worship soccer like a religion. In 1923, Mexico formed its national team and started participating in various championships. This made soccer popular in the whole country. Now there are some Mexican soccer rules that are essential to play soccer in Mexico .
Here is the list of some such important rules:
The first and most the basic rule of soccer is related to the field of play. According to the law, there should be accurate marking lines and dimensions. The pitch must have the length of between 90 to 120 meters and the breadth should be 45 to 90 meters. Additionally, it should be rectangular in shape.
The next important rule for soccer is related to the ball. According to the law, the ball should have a circumference in between 68 to 70 centimeters along with weight not exceeding 450 grams.
According to soccer rules for South Korea , the number of players in a soccer team should be 11 including 10 outfield players and 1 goal keeper. Every team is allowed to make 3 substitutions in a single match.
It is important for the soccer players to be in a proper kit. This includes jersey or shirt, shin pads, shorts, footwear and socks. The color of the dress of a particular team should be unique so that it is easy for audience to differentiate between the players of both teams.
The person who makes the Mexican soccer rules effective is a referee. He/She is responsible for the fair play in the field. Referee stays in the ground all the time during the match.
There are four referees for a particular soccer match. One is the center referee that remains on the field, 2 assistant referees standing on each side of the ground. The fourth referee handles issues like showing injury time duration, replacing any one of the three referees if any one is unfit to continue the game.
According to USA soccer rules, the duration of the match should be of 90 minutes that is divided into 2 halves of 45 minutes each. These halves are separated by a 15 minute break. In order to balance the time of substitutions or any other interruptions during the match, there is an injury time given at the end of 90 minutes.
These were some essential Mexican soccer rules. Additionally, there are some other rules as well that are exactly similar to the main rules of soccer. Like off sides, free kicks, penalty kicks, throw in, the goal kick, corner kicks and substitutions etc.
