The best way to teach soccer coaching drills to your players is to begin at the basic level and slowly increase the level of complexity. Your players should begin with the most basic form and practice it in a situation where there is no pressure as the idea is to develop the technique.
As they master it, make it more complex. You can have your players practice within a restricted area to put them under pressure or just add more players to the same area. This helps them practice the technique with constraints.
For variation a passive and active defender can be added in turns. The aim is to have the players use the technique exactly as they would use it in a game situation on the field.
