The soccer strategy game is an important component of soccer coaching.
If your players are expert in various soccer skills, tips, tactics, and techniques, but if they are not playing with a strategy, it will be like running in the dark, aimlessly.
When it comes to soccer coaching, direct play is considered as one of the best strategy. It does not only make your players faster, stronger, and aggressive, but it also maximizes the opportunity to score a goal.
Direct play consists of five passes or less. It means that once a player gets the possession of the ball, he or she has to keep passing the ball, as quickly as possible, but with complete accuracy.
The ball will be kept passing from one player to another, until it reaches the forward, near the goalpost of the opponent, who will now try to score the goal, using his or her attacking skills.
This way, we can see that direct play as a soccer strategy game can be very effective, as you can get control of the game quickly.
As a soccer trainer, it is important for you to teach your players, how to increase, or at least maintain the momentum of the attack, once the ball is in the attacking third of the field.
