Watching soccer techniques clips, is one of the best ways to learn how to teach your players, the best and most effective ways of defence.

You cannot expect your players to be on the winning side, if they are not good at using impressive soccer techniques for defence.

For example, in your coaching sessions, you must teach your students, how to make a compact form of team, in order to pressurise the attacking line of the opponent team.

For example, when the ball is in possession of a player from the opponent team, the team retaining a compact shape will find it very easy to win ball from him or her, and reverse the attacking order.

Compact formation of team and retaining the same throughout the game, will help your team players, not only to get control of the ball, but also to get control of the game.

It is also recommended that you have your players watch the various techniques clips from big games and learn from them.

However, the real magic lies in practicing the impressive defensive drills for soccer that you have developed for them and not in watching the soccer techniques clips.

Soccer Techniques Clips: A Simple Ball Control Drill

The new coaches usually use the various soccer techniques clips to develop their own strategy for the coaching session. Well, that is not bad, but you should also note that the real magic lies in your own creativity and understanding of the game.

That is the reason, why it is said that if you want to become a successful soccer coach, you must have a sincere passion for the game of soccer. It is only then that you can pass your enthusiasm and passion to your players. Here, I am giving you a brief insight into a simple ball control drill that you can use for the young players, with as many variations as you like.

As per this drill, you have to divide your players into small groups of two. Each pair of the players will take position inside a small grid of any comfortable size of your choice. There will be two halves in that grid and that will be assigned as one for each player. As per the soccer techniques clips, one player will now act as a server.

He or she will serve the ball in the air, but in the other half of the grid that is assigned to the other player. This player has to take control of the ball, without letting it go outside the grid and then return back to the server.
